Louisiana Flooding
Update!

Below is a brief report from Dennis Shafter regarding the flooding in Louisiana:

The Gonzalez church is dry, The Hammond church got a small amount of water, The Denham Springs church got 6 feet of water and has to be gutted, Jones Creek Adventist Academy got about 1 foot of water and the school is meeting in the Baton Rouge Church, which is dry, the Baton Rouge Spanish Church is dry. Several members throughout the area had their homes flooded. None of the buildings or homes had flood insurance because none of them were in a flood plain.

Ladies 18 years old and up please join us on October 2nd at 12:00pm in the Fellowship Hall to celebrate the lives of the survivors of breast cancer and those that lost the battle. Our speaker, Tiffany Hellerstedt, is from the Breast Cancer Society. She will share information and handouts from the Breast Cancer Society. Please sign up if you plan to come to the event. It is important to the committee for you to sign up so we can plan accordingly. There is a sign up sheet for food we would like you to bring. Both sheets are on the Women's Ministry table. We look forward to seeing you there. Thank you for your support!
